Róża Wiktoria Tyborowska

Róża Wiktoria’s practice is about observation: images as residues of encounters, traces left where bodies, objects, architecture and time negotiate before thought takes over. Whether she frames a person, an empty chair, or a worn stone surface, she seeks the material evidence of human decisions.

Her relationship with Nikon began about fifteen years ago with an analogue Nikon F4, a camera she still uses and prints from in the darkroom. The transition into mirrorless started with the Nikon Z6II, which carried her through the formative years of building a fashion practice. Today her kit centers on the Nikon Z8 for portrait and campaign work, paired with the NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S for immediate, tactile rendering and the NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena for a refined, atmospheric compression. For process documentation and behind‑the‑scenes filmmaking she relies on the compact Nikon ZR with the NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.8 S, a setup that keeps analogue and digital, old and new, working side by side
